Rebecca Pearcey

Rebecca Pearcey is one of the most accomplished political operatives in the country. A partner with strategic communications and public affairs firm Bryson Gillette, Pearcey oversees local, state, and national political campaigns.
She previously served as Senator Elizabeth Warren’s political director and senior advisor to her presidential campaign, overseeing strategy in all states and territories, and managing staff in over 30 states. During her 15 months traveling with Senator Warren, her responsibilities included overseeing ballot access operations, delegate recruitment and operations, external communications strategy, surrogate and principal scheduling, and briefing Senator Warren on a daily basis.
In 2018, Pearcey directed the national independent expenditure campaign for the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee, a cycle in which Democrats flipped over 400 legislative seats and 8 chambers. In 2020, she served as a senior advisor to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. During her 20-year career, Pearcey has steered hundreds of campaigns based in areas around the country, including Strickland for U.S. Senate in Ohio and Gregg for Governor in Indiana. She also spent a cycle at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee as the Northeast Political Director, where she oversaw Committee operations in 27 competitive House races.
In 2010, Pearcey embedded in the South African National Department of Health for the Clinton Health Access Initiative, where she advised senior-level staff, NGO advisors, and the Ministry of Health on social mobilization strategies to sustain increased HIV testing and ongoing patient treatment approaches. Her efforts resulted in the administration of nearly 12 million HIV tests during her tenure.
Pearcey currently mentors up-and-coming operatives through the Blue Leadership Collaborative, which trains diverse young talent in strategic campaign management. An Oregon native, she is now based in Washington, DC.
