Catie McKee is a research analyst and trader at King Street Capital Management, a global investment firm headquartered in New York City with $18 billion under management. McKee oversees King Street’s Commercial-Mortgage-Backed Securities (“CMBS”) portfolio and works on private commercial real estate lending on behalf of King Street.

McKee was previously a managing director and portfolio manager at MP Securitized Credit Partners (“MPSC”) from 2013 to 2020 where she focused on CMBS investments. In 2020, she was featured in The New York Times (“The Big Short 2.0: How Hedge Funds Profited Off the Pain of Malls”) for her Fund’s short thesis related to underperforming shopping malls. Prior to her time at MPSC, McKee had roles in CMBS Research and CMBS Trading at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

She graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University in 2010 with majors in Finance and Accounting. Since 2010, she has remained active in the Georgetown community through recruiting efforts, admissions interviews, and alumni outreach and fundraising.
