Below are all the requirements related to COVID-19 in place for Reunion Weekend:

1) All guests attending Reunion Weekend events must be up to date on their COVID-19 vaccination (i.e., a primary series, and when eligible, an additional dose) or attest to having a religious or medical exemption. Those attesting to an exemption will need to provide results of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival at the event. Guests who do not provide proof of being up-to-date on vaccination or results of a negative PCR test will not be allowed entry to any Reunion Weekend events (both indoor and outdoor).Ā

Attendees (including guests) ages 12 and older must either:

  • Individually attest to having a religious or medical exemption in the portal, take a COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours prior to the event, and individually submit their negative test results in the portal by Thursday, June 2 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What if I donā€™t submit the required documentation before the portal closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 2?

You will need to submit the required vaccination documentation at Healy Hall during registration hours (Friday, June 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, June 4 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.)

If you are unable to attend registration hours, you will need to present the required documentation (please refer to COVID-19 requirements above) at each event you attend. Please note that following these steps at every event will take time, so please be prepared to experience longer wait times to gain entry to reunion events. To avoid longer wait times, we strongly recommend that you (and any of your guests) individually submit required documentation by Thursday, June 2 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

  • Can I provide required documentation in one submission through the portal for every person in my party?

No.Ā  You must individually submit required documentation through the portal for every person age 2 and up in your party. If you have already incorrectly submitted documentation for your group, please resubmit the documentation separately for each individual. In order to receive each individualā€™s health attestation in advance of the weekend, you must use a unique email address for each individual.

  • Will I need to provide proof of vaccination or attest to a religious or medical exemption if my class party is in a tent outdoors?

Yes. As Reunion Weekend is a multi-day event, with indoor and outdoor events and with many outdoor events needing indoor rain sites, all reunion events will abide by the COVID-19 requirement policy.

  • I have attested to a medical or religious exemption, and need to provide proof of a negative PCR COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours prior to the event. How do I submit my results?

On Thursday, June 2, you will receive an email from ā€œVisit to Georgetown <visitors@georgetown.edu>ā€ at approximately 4 a.m. ET. In this email will be a link for you to upload proof of a negative COVID PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours. The link will only be active until 11:59 p.m. ET on the same day, Thursday, June 2. We strongly recommend that you upload your results to the portal during this timeframe as the following on-campus options will require additional wait times.

If you do not upload proof of a negative COVID PCR test before the link closes, you will need to bring proof of a negative COVID PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours to the on-site registration suite in Healy Hall during open hours (Friday, June 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, June 4 from 9 a.m. to noon).

If youā€™re unable to make open hours, you will need to bring proof of a negative COVID PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours to each and every event you attend throughout the weekend.

  • Should I pack masks for Reunion Weekend with me?

Yes.Ā  All attendees will need to wear a mask indoors, except when actively eating or drinking. N95/KN95 masks are encouraged.
