Growth Lead, Google & Lead, Black Googler Network
Bserat Ghebremicael graduated from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business majoring in management, leadership, and innovation with a minor in justice and peace studies in 2017. She has since worked at Google, where she helps accelerate the growth of small, app businesses. At Google, she is the head of experience for the global Black Google network, and has led initiatives ranging from fundraising about $1 million for Black-led businesses and nonprofit organizations, to highlighting stories of the incredible Black women that make up the company. She's a creator and a mobilizer, and her excitement for new ideas has recently led her to become the marketing lead for Omna Tigray, a nonprofit that supports the people of Tigray, a region in northern Ethiopia, who are currently going through one of the worst humanitarian crises in modern history.
