Reunion Weekend 2019 provides a great opportunity to rediscover what made Georgetown "home" for you and to renew your lifelong connection to this special place. All members of the undergraduate classes of 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004, 2009 and 2014, as well as our Magis alumni (Class of 1968 and beyond) and School of Dentistry alumni are invited to come home to the Hilltop and reconnect with the spirit of Georgetown.

More than 4,500 alumni, friends and family members gather annually on campus for three days of celebration. It's a fantastic time to reconnect with friends and classmates and see how your Georgetown has grown into the university it is today. Weekend events include the traditional class parties, campus tours, activities for Hoyas of all ages and a variety of fascinating panels featuring some of our most prominent alumni as well as beloved faculty.






On-Campus Housing

Copley Residence Hall, Village C Residence Hall, and Arrupe Residence Hall will be open for on-campus housing for Reunion Weekend. Copley is arranged in suites with two adjoining double-occupancy rooms with one bathroom between them. Village C offers double-occupancy rooms, each with a private bathroom. Arrupe has two options available - suites with two adjoining double-occupancy rooms (one bathroom between them) or double-occupancy rooms (private bathroom). The cost for two nights of on-campus housing is $220 for doubles and $395 for suites. Check-in is Friday, May 31 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.



All rooms are carpeted, air-conditioned, and equipped with standard dorm room furnishings. It's a blank slate for you to make your own for the weekend, just like you did freshman year! Linens provided include a bath towel for each individual, bed sheets, blanket and pillow. There is no daily housekeeping service or linen exchange. We recommend bringing an additional towel for your stay. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide cribs or rollaway beds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Advance registration is strongly encouraged, but we understand that this is not always possible. Plese note that there are higher registration prices for some events after specific dates, so register early for the best pricing of the weekend! Early-bird pricing ends Wednesday, April 24 at 11:59 p.m. E.T., and pre-registration will close Tuesday, May 21. During the weekend, on-site and late registration will be available in Healy Hall on Friday, May 31 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Saturday, June 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

We highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes throughout the weekend. On campus, golf carts will be available to assist anyone needing transportation assistance. Campus maps will be provided at reunion check-in.

First, consult the weather forecast, as spring weather in Washington, D.C. can be unpredictable. Daytime temperatures are typically between 75 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit and evening temperatures are between 65 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperatures may vary by room and venue, so for your own comfort, we recommend that you dress in layers. During the day, events and clothing are casual. Please consult your class party descriptions on the schedule.

Student Employment Office: The Student Employment Office serves as a clearinghouse for students available for babysitting positions, but it is not a direct matching service. To employ child-care services from Georgetown students, go to the student employment website [], click on Off-Campus Employers, then click on Post a Job and complete the required information. We recommend that you post your request at least one week in advance. Please call 202-687-4187 for more information.

Hotel Referrals: Many hotels offer babysitting referrals. Please check the Accommodations section for a list of hotels and contact them directly about specific offerings.

Personal Referrals: You can also seek recommendations from classmates or organize babysitters for groups. Your class’s Facebook page can be a great resource for finding a child-care provider.

A great and important way alumni can participate in their class reunion efforts is by making a reunion gift.

Every year, it's a race to see which undergraduate classes will be recognized for their achievements.

Reunion Cup

Awarded to the reunion class with the greatest percentage of classmates returning for the weekend. Recent winners include the classes of 2009 and 1959.

Blue & Gray Cup

Awarded to the reunion class with the largest reunion gift total. Recent winners include the classes of 1974 and 1969.

President's Cup

Awarded to the reunion class with the greatest percentage of donors. Recent winners include the classes of 1964 and 1959.

Legacy Society Cup

Awarded to the reunion class with the greatest percentage of alumni who have become members of the Legacy Society by making a planned gift. To become a Legacy Society member or talk with a gift planning representative, please email Recent winners include the class of 1964.

Loyalty Cup

Awarded to the reunion class with the largest percentage of classmates who are members of the Loyalty Society and who have given continuously since their last reunion. A special Buyback Program for reunion-year alumni allows alumni to "buy back" years they missed. Five years of consecutive giving qualifies alumni as Milestone members of the new Georgetown University Loyalty Society—our way of saying thank you to our most steadfast supporters. Recent winners include the class of 1964.
