Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to register in advance?

Advance registration is strongly encouraged, although we understand that this is not always possible. Please note there is a late registration price for each class party for any registrations that are received after May 22.

During the weekend, on-site/late registration will be available in the Leavey Center Program Room at the following times:

Thursday, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Saturday, 8:00 am - 12:00 noon

Please visit us during on-site registration to receive a nametag, sign up for all the events you would like to attend, and find out what events may be sold out.

Additionally, you may register at each individual event. Please note that the regular reunion registration fee also will apply to all on-site registrations.

Can I cancel my registration?

Refunds will be granted for written cancellations received before Friday, May 16. We regret that we will be unable to refund fees after this date.

Cancellation notices should be sent by e-mail or fax to the Events team. Use the Web form to e-mail Advancement Events, or send notice by fax to Advancement Events at (202) 687-5595.

How do I find out who's coming back?

Visit the Who's Coming Back page to see who has registered to attend. Attendees are automatically listed unless you indicate otherwise on your registration form. Please allow one week following submission of your registration for names to appear on the Who's Coming Back list.

Who can come? Can I bring my family and friends?

Even if you may not be celebrating your reunion in 2008, reunion is open to everyone, including your family, guests, and friends! Family-friendly events are marked with a throughout the weekend schedule.

How do I get around campus?

We highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes throughout the weekend. While on campus, golf carts and drivers will be available to assist anyone needing transportation. Campus maps are available online and also will be provided at reunion check-in.

What should I wear?

First, consult the forecast - as spring weather in Washington, D.C., can be unpredictable. Daytime temperatures are typically between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit and evening temperatures are 60 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperatures may vary by rooms and venues, so for your own comfort we recommend that you dress in layers. During the day, events and clothing are casual. Please consult your class party descriptions for more information on evening attire.

What if I have special needs?

Please let us know about any special needs when you register (such as dietary requirements or handicap accessibility issues) by calling the Advancement Events hotline at (202) 687-2064 and explaining your needs. We will do our best to accommodate your needs as long as we know your circumstances at least one week prior to the weekend.

Who can I contact for more information?

If you have any questions not answered on this Web site, call the Advancement Events Hotline at (202) 687-2064 or use the Web form to e-mail Advancement Events. Please provide your name, class year, and daytime telephone number or e-mail address, and your question will be answered as soon as possible.
